I picked my first cherry tomatoes today and it looks like there are many more to come, including full size tomatoes.  There are peppers and zucchini as well.  The onions are looking good.  Perhaps there will be hot sauce in my future!

Emerson Public Library is located at the Emerson Town Hall.  Their hours are: Monday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday - Closed.  Check their Facebook page for Sunday and evening hours.  Closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.  For more information, call the Town Hall and Emerson Public Library at 204-373-2002.

Darlene Klapka will continue to handle bookings for hall rental of New Horizons Centre, she can be reached at 204-373-2373.  Rental has been raised to $120 for nonmembers and $75 for members. 

At New Horizons Centre, Shuffleboard - On Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4:00, men are welcome to come play cribbage, shuffleboard, play pool, or just gather for coffee.  $2 per person.

At New Horizons Centre, on Fridays, at 9:30, women are welcome to have a cup of coffee or tea and conversation.
